Recently, CathSOC (Catholic students on campus) held a retreat for youths at Millervale, Warrington (12-14th September 2008). It was about finding ourselves and Listening to the Callings of Life. The weekend consisted of four talks on trusting and listening to God and also finding ourselves, adoration, reconciliation, mass at Palmerston, and social interactions. It was a reflective time and the chance to get away from the chaos of studentville, Dunedin and also to relax. A great weekend was had by everyone who attended, with thought-provoking presentations by Amy, Paul and Father Mark.
 
Best buddies is a group of students that are keen to spend time and hang out with Youths with disabilities. This year, we have had many activies, including talent show, mid-winter christmas party, movies and spas, sports night and many more. It offers an opportunity for those who are interested to give up their time once a month and carry out a service that is very fulfilling and rewarding.
